CParentheses

CParentheses[symb]

adds parentheses around an expression.

Details and Options

SymbolicC expressions are inert; they evaluate to themselves, staying in an unevaluated form.
SymbolicC expressions can be converted into a C string with ToCCodeString.

To use SymbolicC you first need to load the package:

Wolfram Language code: Needs["SymbolicC`"]

This adds parentheses:

Wolfram Language code: CParentheses["obj"]//ToCCodeString

This adds parentheses even though they are not actually necessary:

Wolfram Language code: COperator[ Plus, {"2", CParentheses[COperator[Times, {"a", "b"}]]}]//ToCCodeString
