is an option for Graphics3D that specifies whether to draw the edges of the bounding box in a three‐dimensional picture.

Draw the edges of the bounding box:

Wolfram Language code: Graphics3D[Cylinder[], Boxed -> True]

Do not draw the edges of the bounding box:

Wolfram Language code: Graphics3D[Cylinder[], Boxed -> False]

Specify the style of the bounding box, using BoxStyle:

Wolfram Language code: Graphics3D[Cylinder[], BoxStyle -> Directive[Dashed]]

Properties & Relations  (4)

BoxRatios specifies the ratios between the bounding box edges:

Wolfram Language code: Graphics3D[Cylinder[], BoxRatios -> {1, 2, 3}]

In 3D, the axes are drawn on the bounding box edges:

Wolfram Language code: Graphics3D[Cylinder[], Axes -> True]

Styles of the axes edges are not affected by BoxStyle:

Wolfram Language code: Graphics3D[Cylinder[], Axes -> True, BoxStyle -> Directive[Dashed, Orange]]

Styles of the axes edges can be specified by AxesStyle:

Wolfram Language code: Graphics3D[Cylinder[], Axes -> True, AxesStyle -> {Red, Green, Blue}, BoxStyle -> Directive[Dashed, Orange]]
